Japanese gamers who wanted to get a ROG Xbox Ally X are in for a nasty surprise. Previously sold for ¥139,800 (around €767), the portable console has seen a sharp increase in price.
The ROG Xbox Ally X is now priced at ¥169,800 (approximately €932). This ¥30,000 increase is effective immediately. It should be noted that the ROG Xbox Ally remains as it was, as it is still priced at ¥89,800 (approximately €493).
The increase is currently only being applied in Japan on the ASUS website. In Europe, the ROG Xbox Ally is priced at €599 and the ROG Xbox Ally X at €899.
