Here comes a very welcome change that will soon be available to all PC players of Helldivers 2. Arrowhead Game Studios and Nixxes Software have managed to radically reduce the size of the game on computers.
The game will soon weigh in at just 23 GB instead of the 154 GB required until now. This lighter version is currently available in beta. It will be rolled out to all users in the near future, once the last bugs have been ironed out.
Arrowhead notes that the 11% of players who use a mechanical hard drive may see loading times increase by “a few seconds in the most critical cases.”
