Watch out! What we’re about to see is likely to hurt our eyes. A mod created for GTA V reduces the file size from the usual 120 GB to just 2.5 GB.
The compromises made to achieve this feat are extreme! Most of the content has been removed, including missions, part of the map, audio files, store interiors, and the entire GTA Online.
What’s more, a comparison posted on the YouTube channel ElAnalistaDeBits shows that the visual quality has been significantly sacrificed. Everything is now rendered in very low definition. GTA V looks like a game from the first PlayStation (or even worse).
