Publisher Daedalic Entertainment already made headlines earlier today when it revealed that Star Trek: Voyagers – Across the Unknown will be released on February 18. But that’s not all, as we also learn on the X platform that the game The Occultist, for which they are also publishers, now has a demo on Steam.
After a delay, the title has been announced for 2026, with no further details. As a reminder, The Occultist is a first-person narrative horror game in which you play a paranormal investigator who travels to an island where he must solve the mysterious disappearance of his father in a place haunted by the remains of a macabre cult. The gameplay combines immersive exploration, survival, puzzles, stealth, and interaction with supernatural entities using a mystical pendulum with original mechanics. All this is rounded up with a truly oppressive atmosphere and next-generation graphics.
