This week, Nintendo is expected to make several announcements during a Direct dedicated focused on third-party studios. We could see various ports and other projects being made official, but no titles developed directly by the manufacturer will be shown.
For that, we’ll have to wait until a traditional Nintendo Direct, which could be held very soon. According to insider Nash Weedle, the event is expected to take place during the third week of February or in March. Most sources seem to be leaning towards next month.
In addition, this hypothetical Nintendo Direct could be the scene of several major announcements, such as a new game by Monolith Soft (Xenoblade) and the next Mario 3D game, which would be the big Switch 2 exclusive for 2026.
