The famous blue hedgehog clearly hasn’t said his last word in the cinema. A fourth Sonic movie is in the works and will hit theaters in March 2027.
Recently, insider DanielRPK made a possible revelation about this new feature film. According to him, Paramount is considering renaming the film. It would therefore not be called Sonic the Hedgehog 4, but rather Sonic CD. This would be a nod to the video game of the same name released on Mega-CD in 1993. The plot of the adaptation would focus on time travel.
It remains to be seen whether this information will be confirmed in the coming months.
