If you’re looking for an epic adventure to get you through the cold months ahead, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD on Switch fits the bill. While it’s not as sweeping in scale as Tears of the Kingdom or Breath of the Wild, it’ll still take a solid 40 hours to complete (and much longer if you want to unlock all its secrets). Best of all, the hit game is down to just $40 (was $60) for Prime Big Deal Days. This is by far the lowest price of the year, and it’s close to its lowest price ever (the game hit $38.50 way back in 2023). Quantities are limited–at the time of writing, 24% had already been claimed.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD (Nintendo Switch)
$40 (was $60)
Skyward Sword was originally released for the Nintendo Wii in 2011. A decade later, it would be re-released on Nintendo Switch as Skyward Sword HD. Benefiting from updated graphics, simplified controls, an autosave feature, and a streamlined introduction sequence, it’s arguably the best way to experience the iconic adventure. This deal is for a physical copy of the Switch game, but the offer won’t stick around forever. We’re expecting it to disappear at the end of Big Deal Days, though quantities are limited, and it very well looks like it’ll sell out sooner. Note that Skyward Sword HD will run on both Switch and Switch 2.
Our Skyward Sword HD review awarded the game a 7/10, thanks to its clever dungeons, excellent story, and heaps of quality of life improvements that make it more enjoyable than its predecessor.
