The future third-person Starcraft shooter is saido to be amazing

Blizzard Entertainment is likely to make an announcement about StarCraft this year. All eyes are already on BlizzCon, which will be held on September 12-13, 2026.

In the meantime, Windows Central journalist Jez Corden made a statement on the subject during the Xbox Two podcast. He said that Microsoft would like to bring StarCraft back with an RTS. But that’s not all, as a third-person shooter is also likely in development. Corden says he had the opportunity to see gameplay from this installment. According to him, the game looks “fucking amazing.”

In addition, Microsoft reportedly intends to monopolize the real-time strategy gaming genre by focusing heavily on Age of Empires. The next installment is reportedly in development and may use the Unreal Engine.
