The suspense didn’t last long, as following the teaser at the end of last week, Ubisoft has just confirmed the 60 FPS patch for Far Cry 3 Classic Edition.
It will be rolled out free of charge on January 21, 2026, on current-generation consoles. Although the platforms are not clearly specified in the trailer, it will be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. For the time being, Far Cry 3 has yet to be released on Switch.
Remember that the frame rate is already unlocked on PC.
