Bethesda Game Studios has rolled the Switch 2 version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition on Tuesday without warning. A free upgrade is available for download for owners of the game on Switch.
The RPG benefits from improved definition and shorter loading times on Switch 2. Joy-Con 2 mouse controls are supported, as are motion controls and Amiibo compatibility.
Skyrim Anniversary Edition is priced at $59.99 via the eShop. Those who own the base game can purchase the The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition Upgrade for $19.99. The Switch 2 upgrade can then be downloaded at no additional cost.
