The Elder Scrolls Online details Season 0, which will begin on April 2

ZeniMax Online Studios has definitively abandoned the chapter and DLC system for introducing new content in The Elder Scrolls Online. A seasonal system will change everything.

This week, the American studio discussed the new features that will be arriving this year. Season 0, called Dawn and Dusk, will run from April 2 to July 8, 2026. Players will be able to access the Night Market event zone and a first wave of changes and improvements.

For example, players will be able to respec their skills and attributes for free via the interface. The furniture limit in houses will increase, riding skills will improve more quickly, and outfit slots will be changed.

Combat classes will undergo a revamp, starting with the Dragon Knights. A first Tamriel Tome, which is a kind of Battle Pass, will be offered. Players will have to complete challenges to earn points and unlock rewards in each tome. Season 0 will include The Gold Coast Bazaar, a shop where you can collect collectibles. Finally, multiplayer will receive content such as a more difficult Challenge difficulty mode and a progression system for the Vengeance PvP campagin.

Seasons 1 and 2, which will be released in summer and fall respectively, will come with a new series of Thieves Guild quests, a solo dungeon, an endgame trial, and an open-sea event. Sheogorath will even make a comeback! There will be combat adjustments and overall improvements to the experience too.
