The Kingdom Come: Deliverance franchise will soon be coming to the big screen. An adaptation is in the works, and a director has already been found.
Warhorse Studios didn’t go looking for a Hollywood figure to direct the film, but simply chose the creative director of the video game Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Thus, Daniel Vávra will focus on this film adaptation, which does not yet have a release date. Negotiations are underway with production companies.
Vávra will no longer be involved in the studio’s day-to-day activities. He will take on the role of transmedia director responsible for adapting Kingdom Come: Deliverance into a feature film over the next few years.
