Studio WeirdCo has decided to create a Cyberpunk 2077 collectible card game in direct collaboration with CD Projekt RED. This collection, titled “Welcome to Night City,” is set to be released this year.
To bring the project to life, a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter was launched on March 17. An initial goal of $100,000 was set. Just minutes after going live, the campaign had already raised over 2.8 million euros (and likely much more by the time you read this). It is set to end on April 18, 2026.
Iconic video game characters such as V, Johnny Silverhand, and Judy are included in the first set. A second set centered on the universe of the anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is already in the works.
