Announced in January 2024 and initially scheduled for release on September 3 of that same year, Prison Architect 2 was then postponed indefinitely. Two years after its official announcement, this second 3D installment is back in the news.
Double Eleven studio has confirmed that a new closed beta will begin on January 19, 2026, exclusively on Steam. Registration is available at this address. Not everyone will be accepted, and the lucky few will be required to sign an NDA.
