Due to the record numbers of players logging in last weekend, the ARC Raiders servers went through some problems. In fact, the devs had to create queues to avoid disaster.
This lasted only a few hours, but Embark Studios took it very seriously. Those who logged in on Sunday will receive 500 free Raider Tokens (worth €4.99) as compensation. This may seem modest, but it’s rather generous given that the technical problems did not last long.
Ossen Julia, who is responsible for the community for the Swedish studio, posted the following message.
“Our team is working tirelessly to get you back on the servers as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience while we fine-tune the system. As a thank you, we are offering you 500 Raider Tokens to use as you see fit.”
