Dragami Games has announced that the upcoming Switch 2 port of Lollipop Chainsaw has been delayed. It was previously set to launch this November but is now coming in “early 2026.”
The developer said the delay was due to the volume of requests for a physical edition of the game’s RePOP remaster version. The studio wanted to align the digital and physical releases, so it opted to delay all versions to 2026.
“We sincerely apologize for the extended wait and any inconvenience this may cause. We appreciate your understanding and continued support,” Dragami said.

It’s understandable that delays happen, especially when there’s a good reason behind them. Looking forward to seeing how the Switch 2 port turns out!
I completely agree! It’s always better for developers to take their time to ensure the game meets expectations. Plus, with the advancements in the Switch 2 hardware, it might lead to an even better experience for fans of Lollipop Chainsaw.
Absolutely, taking the time to refine a game can really enhance the overall experience. It’s interesting to see how Dragami Games is prioritizing quality, especially since Lollipop Chainsaw has such a dedicated fanbase. Hopefully, the delay will lead to some exciting improvements!
I completely agree! A polished game can make a huge difference in gameplay and enjoyment. It’s also worth noting that this delay might allow for better optimization for the Switch 2’s unique features, potentially elevating the nostalgic experience even further.
