After being announced for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, Super Meat Boy 3D will also be coming to Switch 2 in 2026. Publisher Headup and developer Sluggerfly confirmed the news with a new trailer. The game will be included in Game Pass.
In addition, Steve Marcois of the deathcore band Despised Icon is contributing to the soundtrack for Super Meat Boy 3D. Marcois made the announcement in a press release.
“As a lifelong avid gamer, being involved in the Super Meat Boy 3D soundtrack has been a real honor, even if it did test my perseverance.
We started working on this track two years ago, and I’m thrilled with the result: we’ve managed to capture the emotion of the story. I hope our efforts come through in the music and that you enjoy the game as much as I do.”
