Steam Pulling 2023 RPG From Sale Forever, Ouch

Steam users are losing an RPG that only launched in 2023 forever, as it’s been whisked off the store pages.

Even when the game doesn’t live up to expectations it’s always gutting to see it ripped from store pages. It’s not easy to develop a game and then have it published for the world to scrutinise. It takes a lot of time, costs a fortune and can either be a career builder or destroyer depending on the reaction from players.

Concord is a good example of this. As a game it wasn’t half-bad and had some interesting ideas but it failed to grab anyone’s attention, and was removed from PlayStation stores almost as quickly as it was launched.

Now action-RPG looter Superfuse is the next game to be taken down, but at least it’s had two years as opposed to Concord’s two weeks…

Superfuse’s description on Steam says it’s “a comic-book-styled hack’n’slash ARPG with a rich and accessible skill customization system. Craft unique skills from a huge array of powerful fuses, select one of three classes and embark on this journey alone or with up to 3 friends. When humanity needs hope, be the hero!”

Sounds great on paper but if you take a look at its store page you’ll see it’s labelled Mostly Negative by those who’ve played it.

Publisher Raw Fury, the same publisher behind Blue Prince, has now given an update on the game, announcing that its developer Stitch Heads Entertainment is no longer in operation. This means updates, server maintenance and more are unachievable for the foreseeable future, and “after much consideration and based on Steam’s guidelines and instructions, we’ll be removing the game from Steam as of October 10, 2025.

Raw Fury’s statement went on to say: “This is an unfortunate situation, and we wish we could have brought you better news for Superfuse and its future. We want to thank all of you who have been part of its community.”

It’s sad but what else can you do? At the time of writing those who haven’t purchased the game have two weeks to do so, before it’s gone forever.

If you already own the game though you won’t lose access, but there won’t be much point in playing it if the servers aren’t online and no new content is on the way.
