Steam launches a personal calendar for new releases

This week, Valve presented a handy new tool designed for Steam users. The new personalized calendar provides an overview of recently released games.

This feature is currently only available via Steam Labs, but every player can get a preview right now. The calendar is updated daily and takes into account the titles we play most often. This data is then used to generate recommendations in the calendar.

As things stand, only five working days (Monday to Friday) will appear, and our wish list will be included. A weekly or monthly view will be available with clear visuals allowing us to instantly identify the games we are looking forward to.

Finally, customization options are at our fingertips. These include a tag selector, an adjustment of the number of results (from 10 to 500 games displayed), and preferences taken into account based on our Steam account criteria.
