Yet another four free games are now available for you to enjoy on Steam.
If youāre a regular around these parts, then you may already be familiar with the 12 free Steam titles I walked you through yesterday.
Where Can I Grab These Steam Free Games?
If nothing there appealed to you, worry not; Iām back with a fresh batch today, as brought to our attention by SteamGamesPC.
I canāt exactly say Iāll start off strong as many of these titles lack sufficient reviews, but Iāll begin with what I deem to be the most promising.
Urban Undergrounds is a first-person horror game from indie developer Brandon.
It sees the player explore an underground bunker, avoiding deadly threats as they search for a missing friend.
The game looks incredibly spooky, with its low-lighting and eerie soundtrack.
āYou are an experienced urban explorer, known for venturing into abandoned places where no one else dares to go. One day, your best friend Marcus invites you to investigate an old, decaying urban bunker hidden deep in a forest far from civilisation,ā reads the synopsis.
Personally, Iād say āNah, youāre alright Marcus.ā
Here though, youāll find out what resides within. There are no weapons in this game so your only options are to run or hide, and you should be able to complete the title in one to two hours.
One early review reads, āFun little horror game. The meat man kept me on the edge of my seat. Good jump scares, scary moments, and itās freeā.
The ⦠meat man? I wonāt ask.
Curtainfall is perhaps the game for those of you who enjoy action roguelikes.
This oneās from Team Curtainfall and sees you fight your way through a series of arenas set within a cursed circus.
Youāll unlock new abilities and form a build, as is typical in roguelikes, throughout your run.
The gameplay looks a tad primitive and thereās only one review to go off which warns of bugs, so keep that in mind.
Next up is 3am on Fish Island, and I canāt quite pin down what genre this one belongs to.
Developed by krishGames, youāll āwalk the streets of Fish Island and collect foodā.
āBecome sober. Stay alert. There are ghosts. Made with the Godot Engine,ā it reads.
That sounds somewhat horror-inspired, but then the game also tags itself as an action-adventure, atmospheric, and exploration title.
Thereās no other explanation beyond this so I suppose itās an experience you just have to jump into.
It has accrued a couple of reviews, many of them being pretty bad.
Finally, thereās Summoners War: RUSH by Com2uS.
This is a tower defence RPG where youāll ācollect and strengthen your monsters to build a team and defeat waves of enemiesā.
Thereās a Stage Mode and a Tower Defense Mode, and this one does have a review rating.
It currently sits at āMixedā with 50% of the reviews being popular and 50% being negative.
By the sounds of it, people like the concept but struggle with the fact that this is a poorly ported mobile game which means itās vertically presented and has some features not properly working.
These titles are all available now, if you do want to try them out.
