Steam Drops 12 Huge New Free Games, No Catch

Well, that is possible once again thanks to Steam which regularly offers PC gamers the chance to try out games from a large library ahead of their full launch.

So if you are on the lookout for an escape-room simulator, an old-school arcade game or a whacky co-op cooking game, this game is bound to have something for you.

License to Grill – a co-op cooking game where you and friends can pick your favourite meat-based character and get grilling with the use of whacky weapons and PvP combat.

Dread Chess – a “self-playing chess game” which can only ever be played once as you enjoy a philosophical story about the God of Madness. Visual novel meets permadeath extravaganza.

Yes, No, Goodbye – a haunting word game where you will become an exorcist who must see off a spirit clinging to an apartment. Unscramble the words, uncover the truth and help the deceased finally pass on.

Alien Brothers 2 – a top-down ARPG where you will rise from nothing to defeat the Demon King’s legion. Collect gear with helpful stats and runes and test your mettle against a non-stop horde of enemies.

Redshift – a psychological narrative title which may be short but definitely packs a punch. Close your eyes and uncover another layer of reality as you uncover the secrets of the facility to find yourself in and most importantly, try and survive what hunts you.

Consumption Line – as a dig at modern life, this experimental indie game lets you in on all the secrets of the food industry. With just 30-minutes of gameplay to enjoy, this sarcastic simulation game will see you reflecting rather than grinding.

Road Trip to the End of the World – a visual novel which explores the death of a friendship. Take on the role of Andy and her imaginary pet fish as they embark on a road trip to crash their ex-best friend’s wedding.
