Highly anticipated Xbox game on PS5, Starfield, will be out very soon, if a new retail leak is to be believed. According to a Polish outlet, the Bethesda game will make the jump to PS5 in Spring 2026.
Starfield PS5 release date set for April 2026, per leak
Once upon a time, Bethesda announced Starfield, and fans went crazy. Rumors emerged that Sony attempted to make the game exclusive to PlayStation, but Microsoft’s acquisition of Bethesda threw a spanner in the works.
What followed was an apology by Bethesda for Starfield being exclusive to Xbox. Not long afterwards, however, Microsoft went third-party and confirmed that virtually all of its games will be multiplatform. Once again, PlayStation fans got their hopes up.
Now, Polish outlet PPE has gotten hold of European retail product identification listings for Starfield’s PS5 standard and “premium” editions, with a release date of April 7, 2026.
I do want to point out that PPE has somewhat of a mixed reputation, so take this rumor with a massive grain of salt. While they have gotten leaks right in the past, the website recently made a bizarre claim that Take-Two plans to delay GTA VI‘s physical release to avoid leaks, which the company denied.
