Following the phenomenal success of Forza Horizon 5 on PS5, Microsoft could very well be on the way to repeat that feat with Starfield. The sci-fi action-RPG by Bethesda Game Studios is set to launch on Sony’s console on April 7.
For now, the game is available for pre-order at various retailers. Clearly, PS5 players have been eagerly awaiting its release, as the Premium Edition of Starfield ranks first in pre-orders on the PlayStation Store. It is followed in second place by the Standard Edition. Microsoft even manages to round out the top three with the Diablo IV expansion Lord of Hatred.
Of course, the pre-order rankings may shift in the coming hours. However, it still demonstrates that Xbox’s multiplatform strategy is paying off.
