Spellcasters Chronicles, Quantic Dream’s free-to-play game, is off to a disastrous start on Steam

Spellcasters Chronicles has been met with almost universal indifference sincen its release in early access on PC on February 26. The 3v3 action-strategy MOBA from Quantic Dream (Heavy Rain, Detroit: Become Human) is off to a very difficult start.

The game has peaked at only 888 concurrent players since its release on Steam. It has attracted just over 500 people at the same time over the last 24 hours. The free-to-play game also has “mixed” ratings, with 54% favorable reviews out of nearly 400 published.

Apart from its rather successful environments and fairly intense action, Spellcasters Chronicles has been criticized for its poor optimization, lack of variety, and interface bugs.
