SpaceCraft Early Access release date set for May 20th

Shiro Games has confirmed that is has locked down the early access release date for its online space exploration game SpaceCraft, with it being available on Steam from May 20th. The team at Shiro Games was originally aiming to launch the SpaceCraft early access in 2025,  but then delayed to Q2 2026 as more development time was needed.

In SpaceCraft, players can explore the galaxy charting different worlds, finding resources, and making their own way in this universe. Shiro Games has previously emphasised that players coming together to form factions and Corpos is how people can get ahead, with these entities able to build land based and orbital bases. With this kind of power, groups can become dominant economic and military powers in the own right. Though, maybe you could try and go it alone as some kind of freelancer that tries to play all sides.

Shiro Games is expected SpaceCraft’s early access to last around six months before entering its full release, with the price expected to increase as more content gets added. The early access version has all of the core gameplay mechanics in place, while the full release will add more content in the galaxy, a bigger variety of planets, new sectors, new ways to explore, and more social options for Corporations. More details about these features will be communicated with regular roadmap updates, which will be based upon community feedback.
