Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed its latest figures when announcing its results for its most recent financial quarter.
Firstly, we learn that 84.2 million PS5s have been shipped worldwide since its release in November 2020. 3.9 million units were sold during the previous quarter. Meanwhile, the PlayStation Network has 119 million active users each month.
Add to that the fact that 80.3 million games were sold on PS5 and PS4 during the quarter ending September 30, 2025. Of this total, 6.3 million games were developed in-house by PlayStation. Digital titles accounted for 72% of sales.
Finally, Ghost of Yotei peaked at 3.3 million units on November 2, 2025, about a month after its launch.
