Sony could release a PlayStation Portal with an OLED screen this year

Since its release back in November 2023, Sony has come to consider the PlayStation Portal a huge success. While the exact figures are unknown, it was estimated that around 2 million units had been sold by January 2025.

This is a rather impressive total for what was originally just a simple device used to play PS5 games via remote play. Since then, the accessory has received a feature that allows it to bypass the console by launching games directly via the cloud.

Now, insider KeplerL2 has explained on NeoGAF that a new version will be released in 2026. It is said to be a PlayStation Portal equipped with an OLED screen. The current model only has an 8-inch HD LCD screen.

This rumor should obviously be taken with a grain of salt.
