Sonic’s voice actor teases a new project announcement for june

With Sonic’s 35th-anniversary celebrations well underway now, fans of the franchise are eagerly awaiting announcements of new projects. The summer months are likely to bring a few surprises from SEGA’s mascot.

In an interview with Variety, Roger Craig, the voice of Sonic, revealed that he will be participating in the IGN Live event in June “to unveil a surprise related to Sonic’s anniversary”. Bound by non-disclosure agreements, the actor obviously didn’t say anything more, other than that he is “extremely excited to be a part of this”.

Now, we’ll just have to be patient. As a reminder, Sonic Frontiers Definitive Edition was recently rated in South Korea.
