With Christmas next week and how the weekends have fallen around it, we’ve made it through to what will be the final weekly round up of 2025. We’ve kicked off our own Game of the Year awards this week, but there was still plenty of news, game updates, patches and more to report on, and games to wrap up in review. Here’s what’s happened.
In the News This Week
As you’d expect, it was nice and relaxed this week. Wait, what do you mean there was a whole furore about AI, and it was Larian at the centre of the maestrom?

- Samson’s main story will last around 10 hours, console versions confirmed

A bit of mopping up with reviews for the end of 2025, here’s the verdicts we dished out:
- Aaero2: Black Razor Edition – PS5, XSX|S, PC – 9/10

Beyond the reviews, Steve went back to Greedfall: The Dying World with the latest major update to the Early Access release making big strides to address early criticisms.
