How have you been getting on in the new year? I’ve just about remembered that it’s ’26 and not ’25 anymore for this round up, so we’re off to a good start, I’d say.
It’s certainly been a chilly one with the thermostats dipping below 0ºC and some snow and ice on the ground. As if you needed one, it’s a good excuse to continue your holiday gaming, isn’t it? I might check out the snow stages in Assetto Corsa Rally.

Games in Review & Featured Articles
Since it was the tail end of the year, and we kept things pretty lean during the Crimbo Limbo, we just had a last couple reviews to squeeze in:
- Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked – PS5, PC, PSVR 2, PC VR – 8/10
- Pokémon Legends: Z–A Mega Dimension DLC – NSW2, NSW – 7/10
And as has been tradition for a good long while, we had a bit of GOTY counter-programming on Boxing Day with TheSixthAxis Alternative Game of the Year Awards 2025.
Rounding out the week, What We Played featured a bunch of holiday gaming, from breaking out classics Guitar Hero and Super Mario Galaxy, to Aaero 2, Demeo x D&D Battlemarked and Silent Hill f.

Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties adds a new Bad Boy Dragon mode
