At the end of January, Ubisoft confirmed a partnership between Rainbow Six Siege and Metal Gear Solid. We now know that this collaboration will result in Solid Snake joining the PvP shooter.
This iconic video game hero will be a new permanent operator, making his debut on March 3, 2026, in Rainbow Six Siege via Operation Silent Hunt (Year 11, Season 1). To unlock him, you’ll need to have the Premium Battle Pass, which will also grant access to other skins, such as Psycho Mantis for the operator Smoke.
Solid Snake will have three speed points and only one health point. He will therefore be a very fast operator, but nevertheless fragile. This seems to correspond fairly well to his characteristics in the Konami franchise.
And since good news never comes alone, Snake is voiced by the legendary David Hayter. Finally, as for his gadget, he will have a “Soliton Radar MKIII” capable of materializing a floor plan in order to detect potential threats.
