Slay the Spire 2 sold 5.3 million copies in March 2026

The latest entry in the Slay the Spire franchise had an excellent first month of release. In fact, the title has already sold 5.3 million copies in one month, according to data shared by Alinea Analytics’ market manager on the X platform. This amounts to $108 million.

These impressive figures naturally secure it the top spot among the best-selling games of March 2026 on Steam, dethroning by a wide margin Crimson Desert, which sold 2 million copies. The other spots in the ranking are held by the iconic Resident Evil Requiem (1.2 million), Climber Animals: Together (1.2 million), and Resident Evil 3 Remake (994k).

For those unfamiliar with Climber Animals: Together, it is a small multiplayer parkour game released in 2024 and priced at €3.99, but which experienced a surge in popularity in 2026 thanks to a self-published version of the title on the Chinese market.
