Some enticing deals on Silent Hill and Resident Evil games makes February a fantastic month for horror fans.
There’s perhaps never been a better time to be a fan of horror games. 2025 had a number of solid examples from both big publishers and small indies, and 2026 should hopefully be another banner year thanks to the likes of Reanimal, Hellraiser Revival, and, of course, Resident Evil Requiem.
If we had to pick one horror game from last year, though, it would definitely be Silent Hill f. Konami’s efforts to revive the Silent Hill franchise have had mixed results, but Silent Hill f stands as one of its best entries in the series, and one of the most original.
We’d even recommend non-horror fans give it a shot, since it’s technically not that scary, so if you’ve been sitting on the fence, now is the perfect time to take the leap, as Konami is running a time-limited discount.
Over on the PlayStation Store, Silent Hill f is currently 40% off, bringing it down to £41.99, which is a far more tempting price tag than the £70 it normally costs.

The discount is only set to last until the end of February 25 (two days before the launch of Resident Evil Requiem, coincidentally enough) and is exclusive to the digital release of the game.
A quick scout shows physical copies are still full price at other retailers, or at the very least not as cheap as the PlayStation store’s offer. The discount doesn’t apply to the Xbox or Steam versions, for some reason.
Konami is also quietly offering a similar discount on the equally excellent Silent Hill 2 remake, again only through the PlayStation Store and only until February 25. It’s 50% off, though, meaning it’s £29.99 instead of £60.
If you buy it and Silent Hill f together, that’s a combined price of £71.98, which is actually cheaper than the dedicated bundle Konami is selling for £94.99.
Silent Hill isn’t the only horror franchise with good deals available at the moment. As a reminder, Capcom is selling a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive Resident Evil Generation pack that not only includes Resident Evil Requiem, but also Resident Evil 7: biohazard and Resident Evil Village.
At the time of writing, Amazon is selling the bundle for £79.99 while Argos has it for £81.99. Either way, that’s a very enticing offer for Switch 2 owners considering it’s three games in one and Resident Evil Requiem on its own costs £64.99. You’re effectively getting two extra games for about £15 to £17.
While Capcom has its next big horror game dropping in a few weeks, it remains to be seen what and when the next Silent Hill is. As it stands, there are plans for a Silent Hill 1 remake from Bloober Team (which handled the Silent Hill 2 remake) and something called Silent Hill: Townfall from Scottish studio Screen Burn, although neither has a release date.
There was a new (and awful) Silent Hill movie that came out last month but as far as games go, the only Silent Hill thing planned for this year is a cosmetic collaboration with the Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly remake, which launches in March.
