Silent Hill 2 Remake Crosses 2.5 Million Shipments

Silent Hill f crossed one million sales faster, but Bloober Team’s Silent Hill 2 continues to see strong sales one year later. In a recent news video, Konami announced that the survival horror remake topped 2.5 million shipments and digital sales worldwide, up from the over two million sales announced earlier this year.

The overall series also crossed ten million units sold, no doubt bolstered by the release of Silent Hill f. Developed by NeoBards Entertainment, it’s the first new mainline title since Silent Hill: Downpour, but offers a standalone story (penned by Ryukishi07) with creature designs by kera. Silent Hill 2 remake is available for PS5 and PC, with rumors circulating about potential Xbox Series X/S and Switch 2 versions. It arrives on October 21st for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers. As for the future, Bloober Team is working on a remake of the first Silent Hill with a release window yet to be announced.
