In Japan, Shonen Jump is easily the biggest manga magazine, and over the years, it has seen the rise of many iconic series, including the likes of Dragon Ball, One Piece, Naruto, and many others. Now, however, it seems the magazine’s golden age is coming to a close. In 2024, Shonen Jump lost Jujutsu Kaisen and My Hero Academia, now, in 2026, Chainsaw Man Part 2, as well as Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo have also concluded. Shonen Jump might be in big trouble but this could also be the perfect opportunity for a new series to shine.
