The Japanese firm has indicated that Street of Rage, Shinobi, OutRun, and Eternal Champions will be adapted into animated series. Other franchises are also planned in this area, but SEGA has not specified which ones.
The success of Sonic at the box office has likely motivated the publisher to continue in this direction.
