Samsung Display announces the world’s first 34-inch QD-OLED display

CES 2026 is just around the corner, so it makes sense for multinational tech companies to unveil their latest innovations before the show opens. In this case, Samsung Display has taken the stage to officially announce a highly promising new PC display.

We discover the world’s first 34-inch ultra-wide 360 Hz QD-OLED panel! Production of this new series has begun. This model features an RGB-Stripe structure that provides sharper text and images by eliminating the color fringing that appeared on previous QD-OLED panels.

This ultra-wide 21:9 screen has a slight 1800R curvature and a brightness of 1,300 nits for HDR. It also has VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black certification. The V structure developed by Samsung Display improves the sharpness of text contours by vertically aligning the red, green, and blue subpixels. LG Display has also announced a screen with similar technology.

It should be noted that Samsung Display supplies QD-Stripe OLED panels to seven monitor manufacturers worldwide, including ASUS and MSI, all which will release new models in 2026.
