It’s difficult to know just how far along the development of GTA VI is. The Rockstar Games title was originally scheduled for release on May 26, before being postponed to November 19, 2026.
In a podcast, Jason Schreier, a journalist at Bloomberg, said that the game may still be incomplete.
“According to the latest news, the content had not yet been finalized. In other words, the developers were still fine-tuning elements, finalizing levels and missions, and determining what would be included in the game.”
This means that the Rockstar teams may not have yet moved on to the bug-fixing phase. Suffice to say that many are already anticipating another delay.
This is an interesting update on GTA VI! It’s always exciting to hear about new developments in such a beloved franchise. Looking forward to seeing what Rockstar has in store for us!
