RoboCop: Rogue City was briefly replaced by an unannounced game called Hunter: The Reckoning

Studio Teyon has made quite the mistake this Friday. The developers rolled out an update for RoboCop: Rogue City that replaced the game with a title called Hunter: The Reckoning.

An internet user was able to capture screenshots of this error, which was quickly corrected on the Steam version. All of RoboCop’s content, including its executable file RoboCop.exe, had been deleted to make way for a different version with the executable file Hunter – Win64 – Shipping.exe.

The user was able to launch it and found themselves in this early version with a title screen displaying Hunter: The Reckoning. This is a tabletop role-playing game set in the fictional universe of the World of Darkness. The images show that the player takes on the role of a police officer who must investigate a shooting in a bar by questioning witnesses.

This possible new video game has, of course, not been officially announced. It could also simply be a prototype that will not lead to anything concrete.
