Capcom Presents at New York Comic Con came and went without any new details, especially the upcoming Resident Evil Requiem. However, the publisher confirmed afterwards that the survival horror sequel’s pre-orders would begin on October 29th, US time.
This will mark the official reveal of Requiem’s price, but since Dragon’s Dogma 2 and Monster Hunter Wilds retailed for $69.99, it’s likely to follow suit. Regardless, with over one million wishlists just a few weeks after its announcement, Capcom is looking at potentially massive sales before launch.
It’s also worth noting that a new video “celebrating the Resident Evil franchise” will go live at the same time as pre-orders. There won’t be any new gameplay for Requiem, but it could still offer some new clues. Maybe hints of Leon S. Kennedy, who’s yet to be officially revealed despite so many rumors? One can hope, so stay tuned.
Resident Evil Requiem launches on February 27th, 2026, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
