Capcom has given the press and content creators a sneak preview of Resident Evil Requiem. This gives us the perfect chance to enjoy some exclusive gameplay footage ahead of the game’s release on PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC this February 27, 2027.
These sequences show Leon Kennedy and Grace Ashcroft in action. The former will enjoy more dynamic phases focused on gunfights, while the latter will focus on horror and infiltration.
Resident Evil Requiem will reintroduce an inventory management system not unlike that of Resident Evil 4. Leon will be able to use a hatchet in close combat, perform stealth kills, and even use a chainsaw to cut up zombies. While Grace will also have access to firearms, she will find them more difficult to handle. Thus, it’s best not to engage on head-on confrontations with her.
