Rennsport 2026 roadmap brings cars, tracks, a price drop and more

Competition Company has revealed the content roadmap for Rennsport through 2026, as they look to build out their racing game following a disappointing launch last year.

The headline for day one is a major price adjustment. The Deluxe Edition will be reduced in price by 45% – from €69.99 down to €38.49 – and will now also include access to the September DLC, in addition to the previously confirmed Endurance Classics Part 1 and Touring Classic Part 1. Current Deluxe Edition owners will get additional in-game items, while the standard edition pricing is unchanged.

The first big update to the game content comes in March, with both the release of the Endurance Classics and a content patch, followed by close to a monthly cadence for updates through September.

The free update in March includes:

  • Hyundai N Vision 74
  • Kuala Lumpur Street Circuit
  • Road Atlanta (short)
  • Fuji Speedway (shortcut)
  • Updated Chapmionship
  • New Single Player Chapmionship
  • Increased Immersion

Endurance Classics Part 1 features:

  • Porsche 911 GT1 ’98
  • Mercedes-Benz CLK LM
  • Porsceh 956
  • Peugeot 9X8 Evo
  • Circuit des 24 Heures du Mans

The April update includes:

  • Porsche 718 Cayman GT4
  • Laguna Seca
  • Sebring International Raceway
  • Reworked Online
  • Multiplayer Championships
  • New Single Player Championships
  • Custom Online Contests

This will be followed in May with the reworked AI (subject to change depending on how development progresses) and more new single player championships. That comes alongside the Touring Car Classics Part 1:

  • Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI
  • Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16 Evo II
  • BMW E30 M3
  • Mercedes-Benz C-Class V6
  • Hockenheimring Classic

And the more vaguely the June update will feature one new car, two new tracks or layouts and more single player championships.

The newly confirmed September DLC also promises a new car and track, alongside a free track and single player championships update.

Through the summer, Competition Company has also confirmed that they will be gradually opening up a suite of modding tools for track creation, starting with a select group of creators, then closed beta testing, with a planned full release around the end of 2026.

It’s an encouraging roadmap for the game, though it is disappointing that the improvements to AI will not be arriving until May. Without compelling AI to race against, the single player content from the March and April updates will be tricky to justify investing much time into. Fingers crossed development goes smoothly on this aspect of the game.
