End of an Era for Ragnarok Online Landverse Global
Ragnarok Online Landverse Global, a popular MMO game running on the BNB Chain, is set to permanently shut down its servers on June 1, 2026. This decision was communicated through a Discord announcement by the game’s team. The termination process will begin with the cessation of the game’s top-up system starting April 1, meaning that players will no longer be able to buy or top up moonstone, the game’s currency. The servers will continue to operate for two more months, allowing players to use any remaining moonstone before the service goes dark.
Landverse is the original Ragnarok web3 server on BNB chain.

That's being shut down.
The Ronin servers are thriving and unaffected, actually a good sign for Ronin that the team will be able to focus more on the Ronin side of things!@ROL_Genesis continues to put up great…
Ronin Version Continues Unaffected
Unlike its BNB Chain counterpart, the Ronin-based version of the game, Ragnarok Landverse: Genesis, will continue operations as usual. Jihoz, co-founder of Ronin, clarified the situation via a post on X, emphasizing the shutdown’s exclusivity to the BNB Chain version. “Landverse is the original Ragnarok web3 server on BNB chain. That’s being shut down,” Jihoz noted. “The Ronin servers are thriving and unaffected, actually a good sign for Ronin that the team will be able to focus more on the Ronin side of things!” He also mentioned that Ragnarok Landverse: Genesis is performing well, particularly within the Southeast Asian community active on Facebook.
No Plans for Asset Migration
The announcement from the game’s developers included no details regarding token migration, asset transfers, or any refund mechanisms for the players’ remaining assets. The message was a simple thank you to the community for their engagement and support over the years, stating, “It was a privilege to accompany you.” This leaves players with the remaining time to use their in-game assets before the shutdown date.
