In case you missed, the latest Switch 2 firmware update (Version 22.0.0) adds the “Handheld Mode Boost”.
As detailed, this feature will allow compatible Switch software to run “as if in TV Mode” on the Switch 2. Switch 2 can run in handheld in 1080p, while the original unit was 720p in portable.
