After confirmation that the game would be coming from its creator, the 30th anniversary remaster of Rayman is officially available now on PlayStation 5.

How to get the Rayman remaster

The remaster, which features five different versions of the first Rayman game, is available now on the PlayStation Store for $19.99. Developed by Digital Eclipse in collaboration with Ubisoft Montpellier, the anniversary release celebrates the history of the franchise by adding the PlayStation, Atari Jaguar, MS-DOS, Game Boy Advance, and Game Boy Color versions of the game into one big package.

β€œPlayers will be transported back into the magical world of Rayman, navigating familiar settings like the Dream Forest and the musical chaos of the Band Lands to help rescue Electoons and save the world from Mr. Dark,” reads a description of the collection.

Alongside being able to play the five different versions, the definitive edition also includes new content in the form of a never-before-playable SNES prototype, 120 additional levels from bonus level packs, a reimagined soundtrack, enhanced game features, and an interactive documentary that chronicles the history of Rayman and features interviews with the original developers.

There is also a digital museum to explore, which features never-before-seen concept art, early sketches, design documents, and more.
