A 2024 Nintendo Switch console exclusive game is headed to PS5 and PS4, its developer has announced. Antonblast, billed as a âfast-paced, explosive action platformer,â became a hit with players on both PC and Switch. PlayStation players can soon join the fun.
Switch console exclusive Antonblast gets 2026 release date window for PS5, PS4
Developer Summitsphere and publisher Joystick Ventures announced the news during the Awesome Console Showcase yesterday. While Antonblast doesnât have a firm release date on PS5 and PS4, it does have a release window of 2026.
Antonblast currently holds a Metacritic score of 87/100 and âoverwhelmingly positiveâ rating on Steam based on more than 2,500 votes.
âAntonblast is a fast-paced explosive action platformer thatâs all about destruction,â reads an official overview. âPlay as the enraged Dynamite Anton (or his cranked-out coworker Annie) and use your Mighty Fân Hammer to demolish bizarre worlds, tussle with screen-filling bosses, and steal your Spirits back from Satan! Thatâs right: Satan himself has stolen Antonâs prized Spirit collection, and heâll stop at nothing to get it back.â
