
A remake of a popular 1998 Sega classic game is coming to the PS5 and PS4 next week, its publisher has announced. The House of the Dead 2: Remake brings the classic rail shooter to Sonyโs platforms following its August 2025 release on PC and Nintendo Switch. The game will also be available on Xbox.

The House of the Dead 2 will release on PS5 and PS4 on Friday, October 24, 2025. The remake features remastered and classic soundtrack, graphics update, a co-op mode, multiple endings, and branching levels.
The remake is developed by MegaPixel Studio and published by Forever Entertainment. Check out a new trailer below:

The House of the Dead 2: Remake can now be wishlisted on the PS Store. A remake of the first game is currently 90% off, going for $2.49 on the PS5 and PS4.
