It looks like PS5 Pro users are in for a real treat soon with the best enhanced game thus far, thanks to Capcom. The company has revealed what it has in store for Resident Evil Requiem players, and if optimized well, weโre going to get a PS5 Pro showpiece.
Resident Evil Requiem PS5 Pro game enhancements sound impressive
Over on the Japanese PS Blog, director Akifumi Nakanishi revealed that Resident Evil Requiem will support 4K at 60 frames per second (fps) with ray tracing turned on. With ray tracing turned off, the game can run up to 120 fps, with an average of 90 fps.
Players will need a monitor or TV thatโs capable of displaying the above, of course, but for its part, Capcom says it โspent a lot of time optimizingโ Resident Evil Requiem.
โWhat personally impressed me about the PS5 Pro was its high frame rate,โ Nakanishi said. โYou might be wondering if you can really tell the difference, but when you go back to 60fps, it still feels a bit lacking. The difference in the amount of information makes the world seem more persuasive.โ
Resident Evil Requiem will release on February 27 for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
Are our readers looking forward to it?
