A promising upcoming PS5 game is offering a free upgrade with all preorders until launch in February 2026. Showgunners is a striking tactical game that’s set in a colorful dystopian future. Those who preorder it via the PS Store will get the “Platinum Edition” at no additional cost.
Showgunners PS5 preorders get Platinum Edition for free, here’s what it includes
Showgunners base game costs $34.99, and that’s all you’ll have to pay for access to the Platinum Edition until February 19, 2026. It includes the following in addition to the game:
- Neon Justice DLC – a striking costume for Scarlett, exclusive to Platinum Edition
- Costumes & Weapons Pack DLC – 3 unique costumes and 2 weapon reskins for Scarlett
- Cyber Runner DLC – a futuristic costume for Scarlett, exclusive to PlayStation pre-orders
You’ve probably already guessed that you’ll be playing as Scarlett Martillo, a contestant in a “brutal” reality show, where she has to “navigate dangerous urban arenas packed with lethal traps and face off against hordes of heavily-armed psychopaths” to win.
Showgunners features turn-based tactical combat, with each stage handcrafted.
“This dynamic level design ensures that no two levels play the same way and keep players thinking tactically,” developer Artificer says. “Showgunners has been built to challenge and delight players, whether they’re a turn-based tactical game initiate or a long-time fan of the genre!”
