Here we go again: PS5 players are convinced that they’re finally getting the native game port that they’ve been begging for. If it’s not already obvious by now, we’re talking about yet another rumor of Red Dead Redemption 2 PS5 port. We’re tired of hearing about it, but this time, the evidence is strong enough to warrant a new article.
Will Red Dead Redemption 2 native PS5 game port ever become a reality?
A couple of days ago, Redditors discovered that Red Dead Redemption 2’s Steam page received some stealth updates. The listing had not been updated since 2019.
The changes, which were made on October 3, included a revised game description. Typically, such updates are followed by announcements of new releases.
Then, there’s reliable insider NateTheHate, who has a pretty stellar track record thus far. According to them, Red Dead Redemption 2’s PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2 ports are real, but they don’t know when Rockstar Games plans to release them.
NateTheHate doesn’t comment on leaks unless they are absolutely sure, as evidenced by their history, so we’re leaning towards this rumor being true.
Here’s hoping an announcement comes soon, so we can finally put this monthly rumor to rest.
